Fulfilment & Stretch Goals

Fulfillment - Some of you have received an email with a tracking number - This is your hat!! I believe most of them are expected to be delivered by Saturday if you are in the US. 

The next round of hats that will be shipped will be next week. This is only if you fulfill the following requirments: 

• indicated in the Kickstarter survey that your choices are finalized
• your pledge only has designs from the following: rowlet, mudkip, cyndaquil 
• your add-ons only consist of the following: 3x3 stickers (any design) or A6 sticker sheet 

If your pledge has anything else that was not listed (acrylic magnet, different hat design, etc) then I will not be able to ship your items early since I don't have them yet. 

Stretch Goals- We are 1 hat away from turtwig and 3 hats away from torchic!! I think we can hit these goals so I will go ahead and start talking to my manu about hat colors.  As a refresher for how backer kit stretch goals work- you will only be charged when we reach the minimum order quantity (5 per design). If by the end of the preorder period, we do not unlock torchic or turtwig, you will not be charged the extra $25. 

Next designs- Originally I hoped I would get some sample swatches ready by May 12th. It looks like my manu is in backorder since returning from holiday. You can follow my socials for more frequent updates on the progress. Otherwise, I expect the next update on KS to be in June.

Samples & Stretch Goals

Surveys - Please fill out your surveys as soon as you can! This will help me get the manufacturing process moved along more quickly. You are able to edit your surveys up till the target close date May 24th 2023!

Samples - I did a small batch of hat orders for the first three designs and they just arrived! I wanted to take photos outside but it has been raining all week :( Here are indoor photos by a window with an overcast/rain. Colors are pretty accurate to irl in the photo below.

That being said, I have a very small amount of hats ready for backers who only selected hats (no additional add-on) from these three designs. I can start shipping a few rewards out as early as June 2023! All rewards will go out in the order of a combination of pledge number and item stock. 

Stretch goals -  I've gotten some questions on how to pick piplup, turtwig or torchic as a design. Originally, I was going to see if there were any unlocked designs that no backer selected and swap them with one of the final three goals; however, it looks like there is a good spread across all designs. That being said, the only way to unlock and obtain piplup,turtwig or torchic is to increase your pledge and select the respective stretch goal add-on.  The good news is that I lowered the minimum quantity required to unlock those designs from 8 to 5.  This also means the final acrylic freebie magnet will be unlocked when two out of the three stretch goals are unlocked.

Hi everyone!! Kickstarter finally deposited funds which means I can now send out surveys! Please contact me if you have not received your backerkit email.  The target survey close date will be May 24th 2023!

Your pledge details should have transferred over to backerkit and you'll have the opportunity to select your designs as well as select more add-ons if you want to. As a refresh, there's a few other things I've decided to open up in backerkit:

• Stretch goals for Toast-twig, Toast-chick- and Toast-lup. Stretch goals in Backerkit are set up differently. I have put a minimum of 8 orders per design to unlock said design. This means they can be unlocked 'out of order' 
• If at least one of the stretch goal designs above gets funded, all backers will receive toast-vee freebie magnet.
• If you want to add more items, you can do so in backerkit
• If you see anything you like off my etsy or site, you can message me or put in the order note the your backer name & number to combine shipping. I will issue the appropriate shipping refunds and everything will go out at the same time as your kickstarter reward.
• If you know someone who missed out and would like to grab some items at discount, now is their last chance to do so via backerkit. This preorder shop can be accessed from the KS Project link & will remain open till June 1st.

Wow, we're fully funded and unlocked two sets of starter designs! Thank you all for the support, especially the ones who provided feedback to move this project along and provide toasty hats that you would all enjoy ;u; 

What's next? 

Payment - By now, most of you should have been charged by KS and funds would be on their way to me within the next  2 weeks. Please remember to check your payment method. If a pledge is unpaid, I will not be able to fulfill it. 

Backerkit/Surveys - Surveys will be sent out via Backerkit. Be on the lookout for the email! This will allow you to select your hat designs from toast-let, toast-quil, toast-kip, toast-tle, toast-bunny, and toast-gatito. 

Please note that the final product may have some slight color differences compared to the digital mockups. I will do my best to work with my manu to get colors as close as possible.

Squirtle & Scorbunny Unlocked

Quick update- I decided to move rewards around but it looks like we're close to unlocking sprigatito now too! The freebie will remain at the $1.7K mark to unlock via Kickstarter only. 

Survey results finalized the next three starters: Turtwig, Torchic, Piplup. Their unlock goals will remain as 2K, 2.1K and 2.2K respectively. 

What if we're close to the goals but don't quite make it? I'll be using backerkit for surveys and this will allow backers to pick more add-ons if they so choose. If we don't unlock the $2K goals on KS, there is an opportunity to unlock them on backerkit. 

I'll be making stickers for eevee, turtwig, torchic and piplup to include for the 3x3" sticker add-on.
