To my final few backers who have been waiting for either Kip, Chick, or Twig I have great news-

These hats have arrived and they are now packed and ready to ship and be dropped off tomorrow. I'm super excited they got here before I go out of town. 

Thank you all for the support and love for this project! I hope to be able to expand the starter line next year!

Update 13 - Delays

This update affects those waiting on their hats from the following designs - Mudkip, Torchic, & Turtwig. 

Unfortunately, my manu keeps remaking cyndaquil hats so when I posted last month that more Mudkip hats were on their way... they were making more cyndaquils ;u; 

I've been told that Mudkips are now being expedited and expected to complete the manufacturing process by the end of August. This means I should have the remaining rewards shipped out around the 2nd week of september. 

I'm hoping that there will not be other weather/natural disasters that will affect the projected timeline, but we are entering hurricane/typhoon season. 

Here is the only crumb I have regarding progress ;u; 

If you realized you wanted more hats or know anyone who would love to have a toast buddy of their own, I have some extras available in my shop! Everyone loved rowlet and piplup so those are OOS. However, if you're fine with minor defects, I also have B-grade versions of the hats.

By now over 75% of backers should have received their toasty hats and extra goodies! For the remaining who are waiting to get their hat game on, we're still waiting on turtwig and torchic to finish production. I've run out of mudkips so I've requested more of those as well. 

Here's a photo of all the toasty hats that have made it!

We should still be on track for EOM of August delivery. I'm hoping the three remaining hats will finish production and be on their way to the states by mid august.

Final Hat designs in production

I'm pleased to say the final hat designs are in production and look to be on track for August fulfillment.  That being said, here are some updates on the designs + their hat color panels for scorbunny, piplup, and sprigatito. For some reason, my manu keeps forgetting to send me photos of squirtle on his hat color but I expect to see the finished products within 1-2 weeks for these four designs. 

 Torchic's design has been approved so I expect it on the correct hat panel somewhere within 1-2 weeks from now. Turtwig's design needs some color tweaking but the shape looks great! 

Fanny packs and sticker books came in late last week as well! I've shipped out all orders that did not have any of these six remaining hat designs (squirt,scor, sprig, pip, turt, or torch) and it looks like most orders I've already shipped have been marked as delivered! 

If you or anyone you know missed out on the hats during the KS phase, I've added extras (and b-grades) on my site while putting KS quantities on the side! The 5 remaining designs still have preorders open so you can get them at a discounted price. Please note that any orders placed from now till July 5th will not be shipped till July 6th. I'm going out of town for the holidays and will ship all packages when I return

Preorders Closed and stretch goals are under production

Surveys are finalized - By now you all should have received an email that states your survey responses and credit cards (if you added more in backerkit after the KS campaign ended) have been charged, finalized, and closed. 

Please double-check if your cc failed the charge. There is a small handful that did not get properly charged and therefore I will not be able to fulfill your order!  

Stretch goal update - Here's the first round of sample designs. All will require some minor changes

You'll also notice that I have decided to fund torchic's design. Since Turtwig and Torchic hit their goals fairly recently, I do not have design updates like squirtle, sprigatito, scorbunny or piplup. 

Fulfillment - I'm waiting for the second batch of hats to finish production. I estimate this will take another 1.5 months to be complete and therefore, batch 2 of orders will be sent out around late july to early august if no issues arise during the production process. 

Sticker books and fanny packs are currently on their way to me via ship and I expect them to arrive around mid-July. 

Frequent Updates - You can follow my socials for more frequent updates on the progress. Otherwise, I expect the next update on KS to be in late July.
